Choose What's Most Important

We can't have it all, or at least not all at the same time. In our workaholic culture, it's assumed that those who work the most hours are the ones who will make it to the top. Research is showing that we can be successful when we identify what is most important to us now, make trade-offs, and act with intention about how we spend our precious time. Coaching will help you to develop sustainable habits that will enable you to manage your dual identities at work and at home. Topics can include:
  • Clarifying what you want personally and professionally
  • Assessing your current situation
  • Maintaining boundaries
  • Managing your energy
  • Identifying your values
  • Detaching from praise and criticism
  • Tapping into your intrinsic motivators
  • Mindfulness
  • Setting priorities
  • Making time for self-care
  • Saying no
  • Managing childcare or elder care
  • Planning for the future

Overcoming Insomnia

Insomnia is often a learned habit that can be unlearned. Using an 8-week program, you can improve the quality and duration of your sleep which will improve your health, your mood, and your relationships at home and at work. You will use cognitive behavioral techniques to enhance your sleep and decrease your use of sleep medication.
